Satsang Programme in the Divine Presence of
Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharaj

Samagam Ground No. 8, Nirankari Chowk, Delhi: July 29, 2018

On Sunday, July 29, 2018, devotees thronged Ground No.8 in Delhi in their thousands once again for the weekly Satsang Programme. The special significance of the congregation was that it was Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji’s second Sunday Sangat since Her Holiness received the Spiritual Mentorship of the Mission on July 16. Devotees came not only from Delhi and Greater Delhi and the adjoining areas but several other parts of country also. Some saints from abroad were also present.
Several speakers, poets and Geetkars addressed the congregation in different languages. The prominent speakers of the day included: Rev G.S. Chawla, Member Executive Committee of Sant Nirankari Mandal; Rev Sukhdev Singh Ji, Zonal Incharge, Amritsar; and Rev S.S. ‘Nashila’ from Delhi. Speakers from abroad included Rev Ricky Bhatia Ji from UK and Rev Gurvinder Sonu Ji and Rev Santosh Tandon Ji from USA.
Blessing the congregation, Her Holiness Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharaj said:
“Saints, there is a quote in English that those who sleep on the floor, do not fall from the bed. It means that a person whose mind is full of ego considers himself so haughty that he sees no shortcoming in self and no good qualities in others. With such feelings and being overwhelmed by ego, he is bound to fall downwards and get hurt.
Going by the spellings of the word ‘EGO’ in English, if we remove ‘E’, we are left with ‘GO’ only. In other words, if we let ego to go, only then we can spend our life with humility. Even otherwise, if we think that we have achieved some high position or anything else from worldly point of view, and consider that it is a blessing only, then this cannot take us away from our path.
Saints, even in childhood I learnt that the grass stays low and humble while trees are tall and stiff. We come to know about them during a storm. While the big and tall trees fall, the grass remains unshaken at its place. Similarly, if we have feelings of humility in our mind, the same can take us far ahead and we can spend our life like a Gurmukh. And if our feelings are haughty and we fly high, we are likely to be caught like a bee or an insect into a spider’s web. But if a snake (who crawls low) is caught in the web, it can easily come out because it has extra skin which can be left behind. Let us, therefore, not be haughty every moment of our life and care for nothing else.
Saints, since childhood we have been reading the examples of Ravana and Hiranyakashyap. They have been known as symbols of ego. On the other hand, we have the example of Hanuman Ji who is guided by the feeling of humility. They show that an object with heavy weight sinks in the water while those with light weight like a small straw of wood or a sponge float on the surface of water. It means, those like Ravana got drowned by their ego while saints like Hanuman Ji found heights due to their feelings of humility.
Saints, we see a sunflower. Its face is always towards the Truth, towards the Sun. Similarly, devotees remain concentrated in their life on devotion only without looking towards anything else.
Saints, suppose a person is guided by ego. By face he may try to look friendly with all. But since ‘through the mouth the words live on’, whatever he speaks gets reflected in action. Hence, if our mind is egoistic, our ego comes in our words. Then gradually it will influence our actions and we will not care for anybody else in our life. This is, however, not a devotee’s way of life at all.
A devotee lives every movement of his life while remaining surrendered to the True Master. May God bless all to live life filled with noble qualities of a Gurmukh. No worldly hardship or problem may even touch the life of a devotee.
In the end let me share with you all that a G.O.D. Awards function is going on in Kolkata today where ‘Supreme Spiritual Icon of the Year Award’ has been given for Satguru Mata Savinder Ji.
In the end, kindly bless me so that just as you remain connected with God every moment of your life without caring for any hurdle, worldly hardships or circumstances, I too remain the dust of your holy feet.”
